Topic	i had 300 hours in pokemon sun and my file just got corrupted

My understanding is that a certain third-party app is the main cause of saves being corrupted. Anyway, I've seen suggestions to re-download the game or try to access the PC boxes from the Pokemon Bank. Also delete and re-download the update data. Some people have reported that this fixes it. Pkhex? That definitely can cause corruptions a lot: I've had it happen twice. ... It can also reload you to a state where the save isn't corrupted and automatically backs up where you last were. Yeah. And it usually happens right after an official update. I'm thinking TC brought this on himself... Cheaters never win. Nah it never happens after updates. It only happens if you do something stupid and mess with your trainer information. Also saving in Pokemon centers for some reason.
