The problem with him is that I can't remember any posts of his that aren't "the republicans won, so they should make shameless totalitarian power grabs" (Like he did, and that people claim are jokes) and "the democrats lost, so they should be more like the republicans (i.e shameless petulant children* with no respect for the government) so that they'll win". Nothing else comes to mind as far as what he's posted.

Sure, it's ultimately harmless, assuming people are right about him joking.

But there's also nothing in there worth taking any sort of seriously

* = He hasn't used this exact phrase, but I do recall him explicitly saying they should play more obstructionist and dirty and do literally everything everybody complains about the GOP doing

i think that's an analysis rather than a proclamation of what he WANTS to happen, though. he's saying "if the democrats want to win they should behave more like republicans."

i don't always agree with red sox' posts but he's fine.

my biggest problem with him is that he has a tendency to go "liberals do or say [insert bad thing]." like, a few topics back he was saying something like "liberals are hysterical about trump and view everything he does as the worst thing ever," which is utter nonsense. if he'd stop doing that he'd be totally fine rather than "mostly fine."
