No it was cancelled because for 6 seasons it's been produced by 20th Century Fox and ABC just paid them a per episode fee and then collected all the ad revenue, but that contract expired after season 6 and from here on out ABC would have to take over production and instead of doing that they just canned it. And for some reason conservatives are crying about it and saying it's just the liberal media trying to push their agenda and silence conservatives or some bullshit like that. Nevermind that ABC let it run 6 seasons and assuming it was a traditional network 22 episode season that's over 100 episodes as well.
