I want to know why Xenosaga 2 was mentioned in the 2005 profile. Would anyone ever be swayed by the most disappointing Xeno game?

And I'm not saying 1998 was a bad year in gaming, not at all. Just that 1992 blows it out of the water. First real competitor to Street Fighter in Mortal Kombat, Wolfenstein which is credited as establishing the First Person Shooter Genre, and LTTP which is in the running for best game on the SNES.
People don't care about genre codifiers or how big a game was back then. They are more concerned with the game still being playable now when compared to modern things like BotW.
