| QuantumScript 05/11/17 9:31:45 AM #30: | dolomedes posted... you're saying that all the bad shit christianity did stopped with the invention of the printing press? lol ok that's when it started to die down big time. if you start reading the writing from the time, you'll see that a lot of people began publishing materials that started shaping christian understanding. it wasn't an overnight thing, though, because people had to be careful with what they said and how they said it. the papacy and establishment remained powerful for a long time afterwards, but once people began reading the text for themselves en masse things would never stay the same. and i'll repeat that none of that bad shit was consistent with what christ preached. ...
