Hahahaha look at all these excuses and deflectors. Liberal logic: "It's ok if one of our own does it!"

funny how not one of them actually addresses the topic at hand, lol

You mean that there carbon footprint of a single plane ride and a dozen vehicles taking a single trip isn't even remotely compared to cutting a country's emission by even 0.05%?

Yeah I'm surprised no one brought that up either...

A journey of a million miles begins with a single step. If Osama won't be an example then he shouldn't open his damn mouth.

The mission isn't to make everybody's life more expensive so we can marginally reduce CO2 emissions. The whole point of these summits is to find the most economic, effective, and reproducable solutions to mitigate what issues are unavoidable (Loss of coastline, damage to infrastructure). Making the secret service change their cars to Tesla's or becoming a hermit who lives off of geothermal heat in Iceland won't make a god damn difference. These are practical people who realize that token gestures mean nothing when you are trying to spur innovations in the market to replace the detrimental economic base.

The point of these summits isn't to convince people to buy Tesla cars. It's to figure out what technology can replace or supplement our current technology without damaging the economy severely.
