Topic	Icon ranks Board 8's Top 100 Songs of the 2010s. [nominate stuff] [rank stuff]
iiicon 05/08/17 2:48:10 PM #1:	I've been toying around with an idea for a ranking topic for quite a bit. I wanted to do a top 100 song ranking halfway through the decade, but life got in the way right as I started it. I wanted to do it again in 2016, but iOS sucks and it ate all my metadata I'd been accumulating for the last 10 years. I want to do it again, now, in 2017, but I need your help. I'm trying to consolidate music libraries and playlists across multiple devices and services into one master list of songs from this decade I love. In doing so I will inevitably overlook tracks, either through data loss or human error, and so I want you to help me fill in the blanks. To be clear, I will produce two lists. One of my own, and one where I rank your taste. I will not cap total nominations either. If I receive over 100 nominations, I'll write about the 100 I liked best, and then maybe add a supplemental section at the end ranking the remainders. And hey, maybe we'll even have some cross-over. Sound good? The rules: - Most users gets 5 nominations. - The following users get 10 nominations if they so choose and actually show up, because I like and respect them more than anyone else: Cokes, numbers, Giggs, Seg, VLauw, snowy, Rusty, RayDyn, Digi. transience can have 15 nominations, because I like the idea of tran thinking up 15 songs from this decade. - I don't really care if you use all your nominations on a single artist, but keep in mind if you're going to use your nominations on one artist I hate you probably won't make the cut. - I'm not gonna rank video game music, sorry. - I have ultimate veto power, so don't, like, be a dick or anything I guess? - Please use the format Artist \| Song \| Link. It makes my life so much easier. Here's a sample of 25 songs taken at random from my current list of over 200 songs that I'm trying to add more to before I start cutting, just to give you an example of what might be on my list.
