I can't see how that could possibly be construed as a dumb statement. Because there's a pretty hefty difference between the renownly ahistorical multiplayer and the more historical single player, which is something that carries across to basically... Multiplayer is not meant to be historically accurate beyond a few characteristics. The multiplayer is still supposed to feel like WWII despite taking liberties for the sake of gameplay.
