| NewerShadow 05/02/17 11:19:42 PM #306: | I guess it depends on what you mean by brute force? I don't think it's really possible to calculate unless you have all the brackets at your disposal. The general formula for comparing one bracket to another is [Deficit] vs [Possible points gained], where deficit is the current difference in point totals, and possible points gained is the number of points represented in the difference in brackets (where points only count if the year picked hasn't lost a match yet). If the deficit is the larger value, you're eliminated.
