I'd just forge their admittance to art school

Which ends up changing nothing, because:

- he gets to rub shoulders in ultra-nationalist circles, which are fashionable in student bodies at the time;
- he doesn't get the marks he's convinced his "genius" deserves, and so he blames the ethnic group to which his professor belongs;
- he finds that art grads are ten a penny but refuses to support himself by working at an "ordinary" job because he thinks it's beneath him, so he's penniless and bitter;
- and finally, he volunteers to fight in a war that radicalizes him.

Yeah, we're talking about Hitler really. I'm just pointing out that his admission to art school in Vienna might have made no difference at all to history. There were plenty of artists (like the Italian Futurists) who were sympathetic to fascism, after all.
