It was a specific political group which had goals which were the opposite of the goals Jesus had in the Gospels. Not everyone nor even most people at that time and place were Zealots. Jesus' first folowers don't have any Zealot tendencies. Their successors weren't revolutionaries. Their writings and the purported sayings of Jesus tend to be neutral to Roman rule, or even deferential to it. We have no evidence of a Christian rebellion against Rome, yet multiple sources about several Jewish revolts against Rome. Yet you assert that Jesus was a Zealot.
