I thought Gerudo, Sheikah, and Hylians were all human. There is an actual human race... By the time of OoT there are some humans, but most are Hylian. When you get to TP, there are hardly any Hylians left at all. And by the time of ALttP (admittedly different timeline) there are enough to be counted on your hands maybe.
