yes it was cgi to hell. would you rather watch a typical hollywood fight scene with dark settings, quick camera cuts, and too close/funny angles where you can never see a damn thing thats happening? the neo fight scene was a lot better than most of the crap fight scenes in movies these days.

I already said, in the part you quoted even, that the highway scene was much better.

Also, lots of people can do decent fight scenes, just not all the people that have been doing that Borune crappy camera work garbage for the last decade or so.
