That is definitely true, but it goes both ways. Most of the sales-role girls I've worked with play it up to charm men. If your title is "business development manager" but you're dressed like it's friday night and you're hitting the clubs, you know what you're doing.
Also, those 10/10 girls get so many perks that are just hard to comprehend. Like they don't understand that most people don't get weekly invites to yacht parties.
I don't say any of this out of bitterness. I would do the same in their shoes, and being "the hot girl" comes with a lot of drawbacks and pains obviously.
Oh I agree. But the problem is when you want to be taken seriously. Like, there's a fairly attractive guy too and while he doesn't rate say, 10/10, he's pretty high up there. It's hard for him to be taken seriously at times because people tend to just gloss over what he says since he's known as "the good looking but kinda ditzy one". Anything he says coming from someone else? Great idea! But from him? Eh, it wont' work out.
