Topic	"Cuss" is one American word I absolutely loath

Isn't "cuss" just a slang version of the word "curse" because that's how black people from the south would say the word "curse" with their accent? Similar to "whore" being "ho". I think it's more of a censoring thing, to not say the real word. Like saying, "gosh, darn, geez" instead of "God, damn, Jesus".
