1) Chase Amazon Prime Rewards Visa. $2600 limit.
2) NFCU cashRewards Visa. $13,000 limit.
3) American Express Blue Cash Everyday $15,000 limit
4) Chase Sapphire Preferred Visa $9,000 limit
5) Chase Business Ink Preferred Visa, $7000 limit

My next card I want to get is the Chase Sapphire Reserve card, the Chase Freedom, and the Chase Hyatt card.

now i bet you're asking. WHY. WHY HAVE ALL THESE CARDS YOURE A FOOL!!!

but im not.

the chase amazon card gets me 5% back on amazon purchases, and 2% on dining and drugtores. as well as 1% on everything else. its only redeamable on amazon or in cash back, so i rarely use it, but it was my first card back when i didn't know about proper rewards.

the nfcu card gets me a flat, 1.5% back on all purchases.

the amex card gets me 3% back on groceries, 2% on gas and dining, and 1% on everything else

the sapphire preferred is amazing. i get 50,000 points free after spending 4k (which i do normally, no outlandish purchases for for this. just put all my expenses on the card and pay it off right away). that amounts to 500 dollars. but i get an extra 25% redemption when i use the chase portal for travel so its moreso 650 dollars free. i can also transfer those points to airlines/hotels. a roundtrip flight to hawaii is 25,000 points. just for signing up, and spending normally, i get 2 free flights to hawaii baby! as for the other rewards, i get 2 points per dollar on travel and dining, and 1 point for everything else. based on normal spending habits, i can get up to 45k in points a year.

the ink preferred card is great too since it doesn't show up on my personal credit report. i get 80,000 points for spending 5k, which again, i can do normally. i get 3x on travel and dining now.

and the best part about chase cards is that i can COMBINE POINTS FOR ALL THE CARDS. so ill have...

50,000 (sign up bonus) + 4000 (spend to get bonus) + 80000 (sign up bonus for ink) + 5000 (spend to get that) +5000 (bonus points for adding an authorized user) = 144000 points!

BUT IM NOT EVEN DONE. ill get 50,000 more points with the Sapphire Reserve! AND ILL GET 1.5X REDEMPTION TOO! THATS 2295.00 VALUE ALL FOR DOING NOTHING BUT SPENDING MONEY!!!!

oh but mixedracebaby the annual fees!!!! the only card i have that has a fee is the ink preferred. the sapphire preferred has its annual fee waived the first year, and you can just cancel it before hand (which i wont, im going to change it into a chase freedom unlimited. no AF). the biggest AF card ill have in the future is the chase sapphire reserve. but it comes with a 300 travel credit. anything that gets coded as travel you get it back, up to 300 dollars. this includes bus fare, uber fare, etc. so its basically only 150 a year. so, is 150 worth 750 dollars worth of redemption? YES.

now i know what you're going to say next. YOUR CREDIT REPORT IS FUCKED. 5 CARDS YOULL NEVER GET A LOAN. YOUR SCORE MUST BE -400 POINTS. THEY'LL CHARGE YOU JUST FOR APPLYING FOR A LOAN!. nope! the more cards, the more responsibility that is being shown on your credit report. as long as i pay everything back, my score will go higher and higher and higher. more cards increases my total number of accounts, which more is better, it increases my average age of accounts, which again, more is better, and increases my credit utilization by increasing the total amount of credit.

and i know you're really mad now so ill talk about interest. which is effectively 0 because I ALWAYS PAY MY BALANCE IN FULL. .

so. this year alone, i will have paid
95+150= $245 dollars

but will have redeemed

$2295

have fun in economy CE! ill be up in first class!!!!!
