There were periods in my late teens and early 20s where I smoked very regularly (4-5 times a week) but it doesn't really capture my interest any more. Personally, it was addicting for me. I also very rarely drink now too. I really enjoyed the instant gratification of both drinking and smoking, but it inhibited my abilities to pursue long term endeavors or develop skills in my hobbies so I stay away from it now. I also experimented enough with drugs to satisfy my curiosity, and doing any more was just like living life on repeat and I try to avoid that where possible. I'm generally a much happier person now to be honest. But to each their own. I don't judge anyone that does or doesn't smoke, I just want to see people having fun however they choose, without hurting anyone.
