Snipperclips is legendary fun if you have a second player.

Master Blaster Zero is phenomenal. Even if you never played the original, it's absolutely worth every penny. Plays like a Metroid game, has a soundtrack, and it's a great length, around 5 hours to beat. Also it's only $10 bucks.

Super Bomberman R
is classic Bomberman stuff, great multiplayer. Though, unlike Snipperclips, the single player stands up really well on its own too. Price tag is a little steep at $50, but they said they intend to release a bunch of free DLC for it over time, so it may balance out.

Jackbox Party Pack 3
is also awesome for multiplayer, and frankly if you've never owned it on other platforms, you should absolutely get it (unless you don't have friends).

Snake Pass is really unique and worth picking up since it's got plenty of replayability if you're into collecting/exploring games. Plus David Wise did the soundtrack, which is massive bonus points.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, as someone mentioned, is a port of MK8 from Wii U. If you never owned the original, this game is the greatest Mario Kart game ever made, and if you enjoy the series, it's a must have. (Releases next week)

Puyo Puyo Tetris is exactly what it sounds like. If you enjoy puzzle games, specifically Puyo Puyo and Tetris, you'll enjoy this. (Releases next week)

tl;dr There's a bunch of awesome games out for Switch already, provided you actually have friends. If you don't have friends, there's still a few great single player games, but the console is primarily focused on people that actually socialize.

WOW look at this shill
