Yea, once their hand is forced people will embrace it. :u Once there are no jobs left for the common man when machines and computers can do everything, people are going to need UBI to survive. There are just going to be less jobs period. People say, "well, they'll just need to learn to do another skill!" Eventually the only positions needed will be people to maintain the programs and machines, and we'll need less and less of them as the systems get more advanced.
