It is hyperbole, but it's also true to an extent. Any new person just starting Hearthstone is going to have a very, VERY long road ahead of them because there's no way to guarantee you're going to pull anything useful. Yeah, you can dust, but at a pack a day at best and the pity timer being at 40 packs, pulling a Legendary a month (that will in all likelihood not be useful to whatever class you chose to start specializing in) means that for even some of the less dust-intensive decks you're still going to have to put a hell of a time investment in to end up with something that may just get meta'd out the next day. It's the reason I quit: I sat out an adventure and an expansion and the best I could do after dusting every card from wild was a deck that was a piece of shit after 2 weeks because it wasn't aggro, which I don't want to play. --- "Sometimes, all the stupidity in the world is boiled down to one single product that you can buy at Home Depot." ...
