I saw a documentary awhile ago about a girl who escaped North Korea, taken in by the South. She has stated that she loved South Korea's fashion, started shopping for clothes often, and I think she was featured in a game show or something. I really don't think it would be difficult for ALL the civilians in the North to adapt. I think integration could potentially work.
