I think it was the way he did it tbqh i'm not usually one to get upset about this sort of thing, but he did use what is considered a slur to describe them, and basically made fun of the very concept of being transgender ("that's a dude in a dress") that's different from poking fun at stereotypes imo. i can see how it would offend people --- The words of The Golden Eel have been revealed...
