Topic	Apparently churches in Alabama can....Form their own police depts now..

Critics of the bill argue that a police department that reports to church officials could be used to cover up crimes. So what, schools and cities can't use the police to cover up crimes or something? Sounds like critics have nothing. At any rate any police force that answers to a church is only going to have jurisdiction on that church's property right? The f* are people crying about? Remember how the Catholic Church was molesting and raping little boys and those that did it only got shuffled around. Is it really so hard to believe that a church would use their authority to cover up a crime? So what, schools and cities can't use the police to cover up crimes or something?
