"Um, Raven," you say as the others head to Ops. "Could we talk in private?"

Raven has a knowing look on her face.

"Sure," she says.

You two split off and head for Raven's room while the guys go into Ops and Starfire goes off towards her room.

"We both know what this is about so I'm just going to get right to it," you say as you stop in front of her door. "My 18th birthday isn't for another 10 weeks, and that is the traditional deadline for this issue. However, all 19 prospective families involved are coverging at my father's birthday party in a month to discuss the engagement."

"Oh, okay s-- nineteen?!"

"Raven, stay calm," you say quickly as her aura starts to flare up into flames.

"You didn't say there were nineteen girls out there waiting to marry you!" she hisses.

"Actually it's closer to 25 girls, as some families have multiple-- No, nevermind that! The number means nothing because I wasn't planning to marry any of them, remember?!"

"How can you say the number means nothing?!" Raven says. "You're telling me we have to defend our relationship to 19 sets of parents! How did that number even get that high?!"

"It is true that the circle grew smaller as some families were taken into the Nulls, and others eventually faded away," you say. "However, as the world became more open and connected over time, the circle expanded again to include more families of wealth and prominence from around the world. Simultaneously, magic was 'dying out', so the circle also made sure to include many new magical families."

"Oh so it's an international smorgasbord of wealth and magic," Raven says sarcastically. "And here I am, the daughter of a dead demon. Looks so good on a résumé."

"Raven, please," you say as you wrap her in your arms. "You just told me the most heart-wrenching story of how you overcame that very demon. You know you're not like him, I know you're not like him. Those 19 other families have no reason to doubt you, or us. And if anyone does, we can just kick them out of the circle."

"You can do that?"

"Of course," you say. "I'm Rorek the Seventh."

Raven smiles and then wraps her arms around you.

"So," she says, "this is all happening a month from now?"

"Yes. I was thinking that we could take a trip there, you meet my family, we attend the party and shut down the arranged marriages."

"You make it sound so simple," Raven smirks. "Do you want to tell the others now or...?"

A) Yes, tell them now
B) No, tell them with dinner
