I'm new to this one but he never said Hitler used chemical weapons. He said Hitler never sunk so low as to use them. Essentially saying Assad is worse than Hitler, which is wrong on many levels. And has said that was a mistake.
Hitler didn't use chemical weapons. He did use gas chambers in concentrations camps.

There is a blatant difference to executing people stuck in a locked room and launching all sorts of bombs and artillery filled with chemicals to cause damage everywhere. One is a weaponized and the other is straight execution.
