they are very expensive.

a big mac, arguably the worst thing to get price to uantity wise, is $4 by itself. no drink. no fries.

you get more bread and lettuce on a big mac than anything else, it's why they made the "grand" mac with the quarter pound patties in the first place. something the signature burger should have always had.

anyways. their pricing is all fucked up.

a "deluxe" chicken sandwich is $4.50.

a quarter pounder is $4.

a double quarter pounder is $5. the meal is fucking $8. how come they add three dollars when they're only adding two things that don't equal the additional $3 if added seperately?

one of their value meals is literally just a single, not double or anything, cheeseburger, fries, and drink.

for $4. that's fine, but only when you realize that you can get a double cheese (actual double cheese) and a medium fry for $3. and then add a large drink for $1, netting you more of the same thing for the same fucking price does it not become fine. it because ridiciulously stupid.

a happy meal, btw, is $3.50, and is the same thing as that value meal, and it comes with a toy.

you could argue that all this is still fairly cheap.

until you add a second person into the mix. then the cost doubles, which means if you both spend $7, that doubles to $14, because duh.

with that $14 you could go to the store and buy the ingredients to make the same thing you'd get there, except it would be more substantial, better quality, and more quantity.

and you'd still have money left over.

at one point fast food was cheap. it was cheap and convienient. over time, however, the cheap dropped off and its only got the convienience.
