In fact, the day the supposed chemical attack took place, was the day before peace talks were to resume in Brussels. Why would a person who is already in power, has a stronger position than he's ever had in peace negotiations, and knows that the world has drawn a line in the sand with chemical attacks, use a chemical weapon to kill his own people?
