Can you genuinely not see the issue with entire fields being slowly chipped away at by outsourcing and robotics and the economic strains it will cause? The ability to acquire easy income to pay for a degree that gets you a high-paying job? That stops being an option. The concept of a UBI is to prevent this happening on a mass scale, for example, when the most common U.S. job (transportation) is gradually eaten up by self-driving cars in 20-30 years. --- Enjoy movies and television?
