Combat kinda sucks but you can talk your way out of 97% of it so it's not a big deal. The main 'gameplay' is just how you interact through dialogue trees and pick your choices. It's very light on traditional gameplay stuff. Also to get the best experience you need to pick mage, dump all stats on Int/Wis/Cha, and turn on always-sprint.
