having the split hot dogs cross like that is unacceptable to me. It doesn't seem uncommon though, as many sandwiches that I get that have bacon on them tend to cross the strips like that... but anytime that is done (and I would do this with that sandwich as well), I redistribute the items so that they are spaced evenly and consistently. In this case, the two split hot dogs would be made parallel and would cover as much as the sandwich as possible, leaving minimal surface area either devoid of hot dog or having significantly more hot dog than the rest. This of course also applies to bacon as well, and even veggie toppings like lettuce, tomato, pickle, etc. I always move them around because it's f***ing stupid to have massive overlap in certain spots and voids in other spots. I don't always redistribute contents of wraps/burritos/pitas etc. because often times it's just too inconvenient. Whenever it's not inconvenient though, you can bet your ass I make it so that every bite is as similar to every other bite as possible.
