| iiicon 03/16/17 11:02:48 PM #383: | it's on the backlog the unfortunate aspect of this crpg renaissance is that if you wait 6-12 months after release you'll have a vastly improved experience. and I think there's a significant difference between the after-launch support for Pillars of Eternity, Divinity, the Shadowrun games or this, and the GotY-style release that typifies after-launch support. these crpgs undergo rigorous testing that results in huge balance or QoL changes, or fulfill crowdfunding campaign promises after the fact. they aren't the same game after. PoE 2.0 or Dragonfall%u200B DC are wildly improved. I'm not being cynical about this either - I want devs to take as long as they need to to get it right. and they're making the kinds of games I so I'll support them. it's just that when they hit 1.0 I'm not in a rush to try it. if the timing is right, sure. if not, I'll wait for the first revision. --- ICON: You don't have to be afraid of the pain inside you. ...
