If it is a game I have not played and might want to play, I can watch a bit as an idea of what to expect. If it is a game I have not played and don't want to play, I still can reap the majority of benefits of having played it (some genres understandably work better than others here). But none of that has much political bearing other than to maybe underscore how even with issues like 'watching people play video games' there are a range of potential opinions on the matter and one should always be careful of too casually dismissing them. --- There is no shame in not knowing; the shame lies in not finding out ...
