a mixture of detecting animals, the stars at night, and planes flying was used. satellite imagery looking for a flag's shadow and a car's honking to essentially marco polo the location were used afterwards. flag guards were posted and they were then kept track of by anons.
If people put as much effort into making America great again as they did for this, America would have never not been great.
