You don't actually need the votes from all the Republicans to pass a bill, if you have some Democrats. And this was Republicans' idea to start, so no one can accuse those Republicans of supporting Democrats. But people CAN accuse the Democrats of supporting Republicans and basically rolling over for them AGAIN. The Democrats tried compromising throughout Obama's term and it got them nothing, because the Republicans refused any compromise. All it did was make the Democrat base feel like nothing was getting done for THEM. The Democrats can't afford to let the Republicans gain any more unchecked power, especially given how much damage they seem intent on imposing onto America. --- Touch fuzzy. Get fuzzier. ...
