It could refer to the characters themselves, characters along the line of the Star Fox cast or similar, the people themselves, or any number of vague references. You'd think at this point people would have found a way to straighten this thing out. Furries really are just the embodiment of the internet, if it exists, it will be corrupted in every way imaginable. Or not, but its such a broad term and community that it will never straighten itself out as the what the hell any of it is. Literally so broad that no matter who you are, you can find something terrible about it. On top of that, furries have always had this inane sense that people give some sort of s*** that they are a furry. No one cares. Furries in a sense carry on internet culture to go and absolutely corrupt f***ing everything.
