Oh well. My experience with shrines in both games, in theory sounds great to scatter mini puzzles throughout the world. But in practice, the process is dreading having to go through a puzzle and either relief that it's just a gift, excitement at how simple the solution is, acceptance that I understand what to do but annoyance at how tedious it is, or just full annoyance at the exceptionally tedious and finicky ones. I hated the gyro puzzles in BotW and was very thankful they were completely removed in TotK. Although, dungeons always felt like a chore to me in Zelda games. I much rather had the exploration and questing. Which makes sense why I loved the more recent ones so much. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
