It's because most of the actors from the original movies (most notably the actors who played the three main characters) spoke out against Rowling and denounced her as a bigot, so she needs to replace them with people who will be on her side. Also, she needs more money to fund anti-trans organizations and laws, and this show is going to give her that money. Does she, really?
