Topic	How bad is Star Trek The Next generation season 1?

Tasha had a lot of development all things considering. I don't know if it's a spoiler to say she leaves the cast except for a cameo later on. Her leaving opened up a spot for the semi regular Ensign Ro a few seasons later, who would be the next "strong willed" female crew member with a checkered past.
