| Topic | In a global level, things are bad. What about in a personal level? |
| HojoojoH_2 09/11/25 10:21:28 PM #11: | YoshiNESFamicom posted... On a personal level not good. Im in critically dire need of a job, Ive had two interviews this summer. One was at Sams Club, thought theyd give me a chance but they rejected me. The other was at McDonalds which should be one of the easiest places to get a job but even they rejected me. McDonalds of all places rejected me! Ill be 47 at the end of the year. Though Ive landed in this critical spot a few times in the past I was luckily able to get out of it. This time I may well and truly be really done. How is unemployment support at the municipal or local level where you are at? I don't mean to be popping in with unsolicited advice, telling you what to do or anything. I am genuinely curious about what sort of state-led systems exist for re-employment (job placing), on-the-job-training, etc. This is a huge issue facing societies throughout the world and there are loads of different approaches out there.
