I know modes like Subspace and World of Light has its fans but they were both slogs to me. Probably one of the more disappointing moments in Brawl (other than the obvious stuff like tripping) was finding out that the bonus stages like btt was homogenized. The mechanical stuff in Melee makes for a great competitive experience but also enhances the single player content.
