I actually liked it, but I can see it being a real sticking point for a lot of people. This game in general feels like it's for people that've completed Godhome, it's crazy how often I'm going "wow this FEELS like fighting PV". I also did the equivalent to the White Flower quest from HK and holy shit, do NOT attempt to do it without having very good vertical traversal movement options.
