Dels posted... it's particularly annoying when you explore an area and find a bunch of dead ends that are either empty or have a thing you can't interact with, then you get a quest and realize oh, i have to go back and do that all again. it feels like a waste of time because if you'd just happened to have gotten the quest before coming here you could've done it the first time through! I feel like it's becoming a trend in modern game design to let you get the objectives for a quest even before getting the quest itself.
