Juri is the highest rated character to have anyone rank them outside of their bottom 10%. Meaning all the Top 5 had nobody rank them that low. She also made it onto almost 2/3rds of all Top 20 lists, and a third of all top 10 lists.

Seemingly the most popular character from Street Fighter IV, Juri has quickly become a series mainstay. With appearances in Street Fighter V & 6, along with X Zone 1 & 2, Juri is probably the most definitive character in the modern SF series. A couple years back, WWE wrestler Zelina Vega even came to the ring in full Juri cosplay, a testament to her popularity and surprisingly high place in pop culture, well beyond any other modern Street Fighter. She's also somewhat unique as she's an evil Tae Kwan Do fighter and apparently some people really wanted a fighting game to have a darker TKD user to contrast all the heroic ones. Consistently at the top of the popularity polls, Juri is certain to be an important part of the series for years to come.

...Though honestly, I've never been into her? She always just seemed like a rather "fine" character to me. This is likely just because I never put in the work to understand her properly. Looking at the description of her SF6 weaknesses, playing as her feels like the exact opposite of what I'd enjoy:

"Avoid if you dislike:

Having to manage an additional resource to maximize damage and conversions

Learning long combo sequences and getting used to changes in move properties during power-up supers"

...No, thank you. I'm sure Juri is a very fun character once you know how to use her, but the execution level is too advanced for my blood. I'm still just a button masher and that's not going to get me anywhere with a character that wants me to manage resources, and memorize exactly how every move functions based on available resources, and a variety of combos (regular & with her Super modifying her options)... Juri's just too advanced of a character for me to have fun with. And that's quite definitively a "me" problem, but then this is my Ranking based only on personal feelings and I'm not required to be completely objective. Objectively, top tier. Subjectively, probably towards the middle because I appreciate what the character is doing but am very unlikely to play as her or be particularly thrilled seeing her. - FluttershyPony
