| Red_XIV 08/27/25 9:00:49 PM #35: | Even if I'm being dropped into the Death Note world and thus L and Near exist, simply knowing how Light's own ego is what put him on L's radar in the first place should be enough. It's not even just how Light got rage-baited into killing L's body double. There's also the fact that he was obsessed with making everyone know that "Kira" was responsible for all of the criminals' deaths. The Death Note is completely untraceable. Mix up the causes of death and there'd be no way to link them together. Whereas having so many criminals die in a short time in exactly the same way naturally leads to the suspicion that their deaths are connected somehow. --- "We will end our resilience for bad things."
