With his claw & shurikens, he was one of the first Street Fighters to use a weapon and he's also the first character to have a teleport. Also, ninja are just cool. So if he had a good enough design and the most unique moveset in the original game, what happened to him? ...Good question. Presumably "generic ninja" just wasn't good enough. Vega took over as the resident claw using assassin and there just wasn't really any place left for Geki. And now that Ibuki has taken over as the shuriken user, there really isn't room for Geki. ...To a point that the character is officially retired. No big surprises on the list thus far. I do love Blade, but just being allowed to add him and the other Movie characters was as much of a win as I could have reasonably asked for. --- Song ranking in progress. New signature soon-ish. ...
