Precipice may not have been my top pick for champion among even this group of retirees, but it was certainly one of the acceptable ones. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the first VGMC champion from a Western property, isn't it? (We've had a couple of songs from Western composers win before, but representing Japanese games/franchises) I thought that was kind of interesting. Anyway, it was a fun time as always. Accomplished my main personal goal coming in, which was realizing the Lost Forest redemption run. A bit sad that it couldn't quite go all the way, but glad that it put up a good fight against the eventual champ and proved itself every bit the top contender I thought it would be two years ago.
