They don't have the day to day recollection, nor any of the required ability. The portrayal of Selena Meyer doing her memoir in season 6 (?) of Veep is pretty close to the mark. Except she doesn't use a competent ghost. Basically, the ghost gets all the diaries and schedules, plus a few sit down interviews and a 6 month deadline. --- 'Vinyl is the poor man's art collection'.
