| Gall 07/10/25 8:29:26 PM #38: | A Mysterious Battle Brain Expander (Ruins Stage) Miralodia Expressway The first minute of A Mysterious Battle is mostly HAGANEs typical sound, those rounded synths that Im whatever on. 1:04 is when it pops off, bringing the chime melody to the forefront, accelerating it and adding a hint of vocals too. Obviously, its a short part of an already short song, so I wish there was more of it, but its a good time if not a long one. Research Facility also has parts I like more and less. The first 2 minutes are too grainy even for me, then 2:06 starts up that catchy spacey riff, which at 2:59 turns into a nice little melody. Finally theres 4:22 which sharpens the grain into the kind of edge I like to hear, and shortly after reintroduces the melody, this time sounding more drawn out and wistful. So, good stuff here, but too much filler. One song too short, another too long. The best part of LYSINE is the subdued first half, so I'd be interested in that getting extended to the length of the whole Passage from Genesis.
