they opened for a show I saw once in Milwaukee (actually they were co-headlining but they played first), but I was only going to see Dean Ween Group and I ended up watching the Packers beat the Bears at a nearby bar before heading to the concert and missed all of the meat puppets

They're generally not an album group for me. There's a few standout albums for sure...but every album I've heard has at least a few bangers on them.
