I would also implement a reputation system. It would be like karma, but instead of being based around account age and site rules, it's based around how you interact with other users within those rules. It won't prevent you from accessing certain boards or restrict your posting abilities, but users will be able to see at a glance when someone has a poor reputation. One vote per user per IP to prevent abuse. Oh and, I would just pay to keep the site online out of pocket and remove all ads. Because I fucking hate ads. I don't even see them now and I would still do this. Fuck ads. All just stuff I'm floating based on hypothetical lotto winnings, don't take it too seriously.
